For 23 years we have been arranging and booking caribou hunting trips with Alaska drop off, unguided caribou outfitters, at no charge to our clients.
Hunting Alaska Caribou unguided is for the experienced hunter who wishes to act as his / her own hunting guide and needs very little assistance in the wilderness. Non-resident self guided hunters do not require a registered Alaska guide to hunt Moose, Caribou and Black Bear. However, non-resident Aliens must have an Alaskan guide for all species of big game in Alaska.
You can hunt self-guided for Caribou with your rifle or bow, from a fly-in drop off camp.
You will be completely outfitted with all the camp gear you need for a successful Alaska hunting experience. The equipment that is provided is of the highest quality and field proven for an efficient functional Alaska out camp. Bring your weapon and personal gear and let your outfitter take care of the logistics and equipment.
So that you may comply with the bag number and weight restrictions on your commercial flights, we recommend that you mail the bulk of your hunting equipment to Alaska. You will be provided with a "what to bring" equipment list.
Good physical conditioning can enhance your opportunity of success.
Black bear and wolves may be taken on unguided Caribou hunts at no extra charge provided no extra move is required and proper tags are purchased prior to the hunt.
